The Rise of the Antichrist

In today’s world, we’re witnessing the fulfillment of biblical prophecies signaling the end of days. Some signs, such as natural disasters, global conflicts, and moral decline in communities, prove that we are in the End times or that Jesus’s Second coming is near.

In accordance with the references in the Old and New Testaments, such as Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation, are often cited as evidence. We are currently Witnessing one of the biblical prophecies play out in front of our eyes; it is from the Book of Ezekiel, Chapter 38.

Ezekiel was shown prophecy. He was shown what would happen in the end days, and more specifically, he talked about what exactly would happen with Israel leading up to the tribulation.

Ezekiel chapter 38 talks about a coalition of armies coming together and creating an alliance to invade Israel. After 7th October 2023, Israel started Operation against Hamas; It was the first phase of this prophecy.

Ezekiel Chapter 38, Verses 1 to 6 stated:

“The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.”

The Prophesied Coalition of Nations Mentioned in Ezekiel 38 Includes:

  • Persia (Present-day Iran)
  • Cush (Central and Northern Africa)
  • Put (present-day Libya)
  • Gomer (modern-day Turkey)
  • Togarmah (possibly modern-day Azerbaijan or Armenia)
  • Gog, the leader from the land of Magog (present-day Russia and Possibly leader Putin)

The prophecy states that this coalition of nations will come against Israel “like a cloud that covers the land” with a “great horde, a mighty army.”

Putin Is Gog and Russia Is The Land Of Magog:

In 2017, Russia, Iran, and Turkey formed a strategic partnership to create a new economic order in the Caucasus region, avoid Western sanctions, and discuss the future of Syria. However, the Ukraine war and the Conflict in Gaza have further accelerated their collaboration.

Vladimir Putin’s ambitions are to develop new trade routes and supply chains that bypass the Persian Gulf and Suez Canal, Facilitating Russian economic expansion into the Middle East and Indian subcontinent. Vladimir Putin can be the Gog of the Ezekiel, and the Russian Federation is the land of Magog. However, this alliance faces some internal tensions and obstacles, such as Azerbaijan’s close ties with Israel and Armenia’s partnership with Russia and Iran. Armenia and Russia are both members of a military alliance, the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). Recently, in 2021, Armenia signed an agreement to expand trading relations between the two countries.

Russia is also enhancing its ties with Iran, although there is an issue of lack of trust and experience between the bureaucracies of both countries. But this could be strengthened by  Armenia.

Now, Russian President Putin is offering the leader of Africa weaponry, food, and supplies if they join an alliance.

Even In the past year, Russia has increased its focus on Africa’s Sahel region, which stretches roughly from Senegal to the Red Sea. Using the notorious Wagner mercenary group, Moscow is involving itself in countries like Mali and Burkina Faso, capitalizing on Western policy mistakes, rising anti-European sentiment, and long-standing failures of international and local actors to tackle the underlying causes of regional instability.

In 2023, Mali and Burkina Faso signed a nuclear agreement for energy with Russia and Soon we will witness the Military weaponry agreement, as Russia is determined to make this alliance strong and powerful.

Russia has gone even further, with Russian warships now entered into the Red Sea. All of these countries are posturing themselves for the fulfillment of this prophecy.

This is all a formation of the coalition of nations mentioned in Ezekiel. And it will be the time of the rise of anti-Christ. The Antichrist will present himself as a peacemaker and broker a peace treaty between Israel and support its enemies, such as Hamas. This treaty will initially bring a false sense of security and stability.

The Bible prophecies in Daniel 9:27 and Isaiah 28:14-22 specifically describe the Antichrist making a “covenant” or “peace treaty” with Israel that will start the 7-year tribulation period. We don’t know how all of this is going to play out, but now is the time to have faith and trust in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that He will save us all. Get your heart ready and do not waste your eternity.

We are actually witnessing biblical prophecy unfolding right before our eyes.

In my opinion, Putin could potentially be the Gog or any forthcoming leader from Russia. However, I believe that Gog will not be the Antichrist; rather, Gog will play a role in facilitating the rise of the Antichrist.
