Aqsa Bibi-Rape Victim - Eleven-year-old Muslim Girl Has Been Outraged In Faisalabad - child abuse

An 11-year-old child girl named Aqsa Bibi from Faisalabad, Pakistan, was subjected to repeated sexual abuse while working as a domestic servant. The primary accused is Muhammad Fazal Abbas, the brother of her employer, Huma Waqar.

The abuse reportedly continued for months, resulting in the child becoming pregnant. Upon discovering the pregnancy, Huma Waqar allegedly took Aqsa for an abortion on June 29, 2024, without informing her parents.

The situation came to light when Aqsa’s health deteriorated following the procedure. When questioned by her mother, Aqsa revealed the abuse she had endured. She stated that Fazal Abbas, along with two other men named Muhammad Waseem and Adil, had taken inappropriate videos and photos of her, using them to blackmail her into silence.

On July 9, 2024, Aqsa’s family sought legal assistance from our Organization, ECSPE, to file a First Information Report (FIR) against the offenders.

Aqsa’s Father Statement:

Muhammad Imran Yousaf, Aqsa’s father, who works as a laborer, explained that due to their financial hardship, his daughter was employed in Huma’s household. He said, “We never imagined such a terrible fate would befall our young daughter. They have ruined her life.”

Yousaf further reported that when he and his mother-in-law confronted Huma, she threatened to release compromising videos of his daughter online. When he approached the police, they refused to file a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused, citing their wealth and influence.

However, one compassionate police constable, recognizing the family’s plight, advised Yousaf to contact our local support team and provided him with our staff member’s contact number in the Faisalabad district.

On July 9th, the family contacted our office in Faisalabad, seeking assistance in pursuing justice.

As followers of Jesus, we felt compelled to help this family. We are guided by the Great Commission, in which Jesus instructed his disciples: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). As servants of our Lord and Savior, we are committed to following Jesus’ teachings and helping those in need.

These figures likely underrepresent the accurate scale of the problem due to underreporting.
