Rimsha is one of the girls we rescued last month. Rimsha’s father, Ayub Maish, was a poor Christian man who did not have enough means to provide for his family. Ayub and his two sons worked in the brick kiln, while the young girl Rimsha remained at home with her mother. Rimsha’s mother had a heart attack, and for her treatment, they had to take a loan from the kiln owner, who then forced the family to move into the kiln.

Life and Challenges:

Rimsha was born into poverty in a small village in Pakistan, facing a future that seemed bleak and limited. After moving to the kiln at a very young age, she was forced to confront the harsh realities of life. The kiln manager and other Muslim watchmen used to harass her and try to touch her private parts. In a country like Pakistan, Christian girls and women often face such exploitation from Muslims, as they consider Christian girls and women as subjects to be enjoyed. Similarly, Rimsha went through such circumstances due to the harassment she confined herself to the wall of their one-room house.

Our Action:

However, amidst the darkness, a glimmer of hope emerges. Our organization, ECSPE, has intervened to rescue Christian families like Rimsha’s, granting them the opportunity for a fresh start. On April 9, 2024, we liberated 12 Christian families from the brick kiln, providing them with the means to begin anew.

Join Us:

We call on all compassionate People to support our mission to free enslaved families and equip them with the tools they need to rebuild their lives. Your prayers and financial contributions have the power to enact tangible change in the lives of those who have endured unimaginable suffering.
