The War on Terror: God’s view

Many people, especially my Jewish brethren, tend to overlook the prophetic word. However, if we study G-d’s word, we can be prepared for the events that may unfold in the future, and not be fearful of the coming of Moshiach, which is close at hand. Although we do not know the exact year, month, or day, we are in the season.

The prophetic word is proof that G-d exists. It accurately predicted many things concerning Israel and our people. Even if you don’t believe in G-d, you must admit that the prophets of old guessed the future perfectly. A fool is the only one who wouldn’t believe in Him.

Isaiah 66:8 predicts the rebirth of Israel in one day. This happened when the UN resolution 181 was passed on November 29, 1947.

One of the recurring themes in the prophetic writings is the return of the Jewish people to their homeland in Eretz Yisrael.

Here is one of the best reference’s.:

Jeremiah 16: 14-15:

14.”However, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, when it will be no longer be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of Egypt.’ 15. but it will be said, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the North and out of all the other lands he hath banished them.’ For I will restore them to the land I gave their ancestors.”

It is evident that we are currently living in a time that was prophesied in the Bible. The return of the Jews to Israel began in the 1880s, and the first ones to come back were from Poland and Russia, which is also known as “The Land of the North”. These Jews were facing persecution and pogroms, particularly under Czar Nicholas the Second. After World War II, those who were saved from concentration camps also returned to Israel. In addition, Jews from all Arab countries came to Israel after being expelled as punishment for the re-establishment of Israel in 1948. During the final years of the Soviet Union, and after its collapse, Jews flooded into Israel. Since the founding of Israel in 1948, Jews have returned from over one hundred countries. As Jeremiah prophesied, the return of the Jews to Israel is a greater miracle than the exodus from Egypt.

Psalm 83 describes the ongoing wars with surrounding nations:

“1 Do not keep silent, O G-d! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O G-d! 2.For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; and those who hate You have lifted up their head. 3. They have taken crafty counsel against your people, and consulted together against Your people, and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4, They have said, ‘ Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more,” 5. For they have consulted together with one consent; they have formed a confederacy against You: 6. The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites; Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8. Assyria also has joined them; they have helped the children of Lot, Selah. 9. Deal with them as with Midian, as with Sizer, as with Rabin at the brook of Kishon. 10. Who perished at En Dor, Who became refuse on the earth. 11. Make their nobles like Oreo and like Zeeb, Yes all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna. 12. Who said,”Let us take for ourselves, the pastures of G-d for a possession.” 13. O my G-d, make them like the whirling dust, liketeh chaff before the wind! 14. As the fire burns the woods, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire, 15. So pursue them with your tempest, and frighten then with Your storm, 16. Fill their faces with shame, that may seek your name, O Lord. 17. Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish. 18. That they ma know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, are the most high over all the earth”

All nations that have come against Israel since 1948 match geographically. Take note of Zebah and Zalmunah. When the Moshiach comes, he will do what Gideon did as described in Judges 8:20-21.

20. And he said to Jether his firstborn, “Rise, kill them!” But the youth would not draw his sword; for he was afraid, because he was still a youth. 21. So Zebah and Zalmunna said, “Rise yourself, and kill us; for as a man is, so is his strength.” So Gideon arose and killed Zebah and Zalmunna, and took the crescent moon ornaments that were on the camels’ necks.

Zebah and Zalmunna were the Medianite kings defeated by Gideon. Notice also that Gideon plucked the “crecent moon ornaments from the camels necks”

This is very significant as the symbol of Islam is the crescent moon so not only will the Moshiach destroy our enemies, but will destroy Islam. I’m not the one saying it, but G-d Himself stated this. We know it will be Moshiach because the last verse of Psalm 82 preceding Psalm 83 states “ Arise O G-d judge the earth for you inherit all nations” This is messianic as it entails the final judgement.

Let us examine what is happening in front of our eyes today. The destruction of Gaza. Two of the minor prophets Amos and Zephaniah describe the Gaza war to a T.

Amos 1:6-8:

6. Thus says the Lord: “For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they took captive the whole captivity to deliver them up to Edom. 7. But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, Which shall devour its palaces. 8. I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, And the one who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; I will turn my hand against Ekron, and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish” sas the Lord G-d.

Hamas has made major attacks on Israel 4 times since 2006. They were 2008, 2012, 2014, and 2021. This last one was the final straw for G-d. In front of our eyes, we see the destruction as pointed out in the Bible.

Look at Zephaniah chapter 2: 4-7

4. For Gaza  shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon desolate; They shall drive out Ashdod at noonday, And Akron shall be uprooted. 5, Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of the Lord is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: “I will destroy you; So there shall be no inhabitant.”  6. The seacoast shall be pastures, with shelters for shepherds and folds for flocks. 7. The coast shall be for remnant of the house of Judah; They shall feed their flocks there; In the houses of Ashkelon they shall lie down at evening. For the Lord their G-d will intervene for them and return their captives.”

The prophecy is clear: Gaza, as we once knew it, will be no more. The Bible is never wrong.

The final reckoning is mentioned in several places but the clearest of all is found in the book of Joel 4 (Tanach) Joel 3 NKJ

1. For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, 2. I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter judgement with them there, on account of my people, my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land. 3. They have cast lots for my people. Have given a boy for a harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.

Warning, President Biden, who calls himself a Zionist; dividing G-ds land is a damning judgement. It will send you to the pit for supporting or trying to create a Palestinian state on the land promised to the Israelites. The boy and the girl in verse 3 is an allegory for the children of Israel. The harlot is the false religion of Islam which is directly mentioned in Psalm  81 verse 15 by King David nearly 1700 years before Islam existed “Those that hate the Lord will pretend SUBMISSION to him, but will endure for ever” (go to hell), and the wine is the oil that the world sells out Israel for instead of standing for G-ds promise.

The above is just a speck of dust from the prophetic word, but is will give you a picture which most today choose to overlook.

I may hold politically incorrect views, but I believe that G-d’s word is always correct. Therefore, I believe that nations who support the creation of a Palestinian state will not be looked upon favorably by G-d. It’s important to remember that we shouldn’t rely on our own secular wisdom over G-d’s everlasting covenant to our people.
